Aquatic Control was one of the first professionally staffed companies to provide
control of nuisance aquatic vegetation, using chemicals specifically registered
for use in lakes and ponds. Our personnel were involved in the early field
testing and evaluation of aquatic chemicals that are now EPA registered
and in common use. We continue to work closely with chemical manufacturers,
university personnel, and others involved in the production, testing,
and regulation of aquatic chemicals. Our personnel are trained, tested,
and licensed to handle the specific chemicals used in our business. Aquatic
Control's goal is to provide our clients with a program tailored to their
specific desires and requirements. In order to assure our clients of the
best programs available, we continue to test and evaluate new equipment
and techniques every season. Through years of experience, we have developed
specific maintenance programs which have proven to be effective by repeated
experience under a variety of conditions.
One of the best known is our Clean Lake Maintenance Program for private
and community lakes and ponds. These bodies of water are generally used
for surface drainage control, recreation, and irrigation. Excessive nutrient
input often causes nuisance algae and weed growth while the rapid flushing
of storm drainage water lessens treatment effectiveness. Our Clean Lake
Maintenance Program provides regularly scheduled inspections of the lakes,
with treatment as needed to maintain your lake's desirable condition.
Clients contracted under this program may call for professional consultation
on any lake problems which develop over the contract period. Many of our
clients compare the Clean Lake Maintenance Program to having a professional
experienced lake management biologist on their staff, at a fraction of
the cost. Additionally, Aquatic Control offers per treatment contracts,
custom designed treatment programs, and professional consultation for
development of "in house" programs using EPA approved aquatic
chemicals. A complete aquatic vegetation management program may include
a variety of methods for controlling nuisance weeds. Aquatic Control is
prepared to offer the following services: professional application of
registered pesticides, nutrient
precipitation, and water quality monitoring and analysis. We want to provide
you with a vegetation management program to fit your specific needs.
