Duties to include the following:
-EPA registered aquatic herbicide and algaecide application
-Installation and maintenance of aerators, fountains, and compressed air systems
-Aquatic plant surveys
-Assisting with and writing vegetation management plans
-Fish management surveys
-Assisting with fish survey reports
-Data entry and management
-General maintenance of trucks, boats, equipment, and grounds
-Speaking at pond clinics, trade shows, conferences, and public meetings
-Bachelor’s degree in fisheries/aquatic science, agriculture, or a natural resources related field
-Experience with aquatic vegetation identification
-GPS and GIS experience
-Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus)
-Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required)
-Ability to work an average of 50 hours per week
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
