Details

Granular algaecide and oxidizer primarily targets offensive bluegreen algae in lakes, ponds, canals, aquaculture, wastewater and drinking water reservoirs. The 85% active concentrated form of Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate is 100% soluble in water forming hydrogen peroxide. Target algae are rapidly killed and dissolved oxygen is released into the water column. Phycomycin SCP algaecide has a high margin of safety for fish (including copper sensitive species) and other non-target organisms at application rates required to control algae. Dosage rates from 3.0 to 100 lbs per acre foot of water depending on the severity of growth and species present. Available in 50 lb foil-lined bags. Phycomycin SCP algaecide is certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in drinking water supplies.
